Seeking signs (metaphysical) is intrnsic

And they swear their strongest oaths by Allâh, that if there came to them a sign, they would surely believe therein. Say: "Signs are but with Allâh and what will make you (Muslims) perceive that (even) if it (the sign) came, they will not believe?"

There is an anology between those who used to seek sign from Prophets as a proof and those who seek a sign from the Auliya (Saints) of the nation of Seal of Prophets Syedna Muhammad Salla'l la ho alaye hi wasallm.Therefore saints ,specially of Nqshabndi way advise that the real sign of wilayat (sainthood) is to avoid sins and to keep following the divine guidance constantly.

O Messenger (Muhammad SAW)! Let not those who hurry to fall into disbelief grieve you, of such who say: "We believe" with their mouths but their hearts have no faith. And of the Jews are men who listen much and eagerly to lies - listen to others who have not come to you. They change the words from their places; they say, "If you are given this, take it, but if you are not given this, then beware!" And whomsoever Allâh wants to put in Al¬Fitnah [error, because of his rejecting the Faith], you can do nothing for him against Allâh. Those are the ones whose hearts Allâh does not want to purify (from disbelief and hypocrisy); for them there is a disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a great torment.

Same is the situation of democrats ruling the Islamic countries.They have imposed their own laws and changed it.This may be a point towards Wahhabis who reject the ideas of those who dont follow them and declare them as Mushrik.Each and everything has been made clear by Quran,we just need to poner upon its verses.

Don't sit with disbelievers (read carefully to see the resmblance of the situation to the situation today i.e wahhabis,shias etc

And it has already been revealed to you in the Book (this Qur'ân) that when you hear the Verses of Allâh being denied and mocked at, then sit not with them, until they engage in a talk other than that; (but if you stayed with them) certainly in that case you would be like them. Surely, Allâh will collect the hypocrites and disbelievers all together in Hell,

An-Nisa 140

Quran's Warning for tyrants

Translation

And did not Allah Check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief: But Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds.
(Al baqarah verse no. 251)

We should hope that Allah will soon blow away these tyrants and a reign of just and honest people will be established since Allah's blessings and bounties are for each and every period of time .It is something which is free of time's restriction.

Quranic warning for wahhabis

Sura Al Baqarah
Translaion

114.And who are more unjust than those who forbid that Allâh's Name be glorified and mentioned much (i.e. prayers and invocations, etc.) in Allâh's mosques and strive for their ruin? It was not fitting that such should themselves enter them (Allâh's Mosques) except in fear. For them there is disgrace in this world, and they will have a great torment in the Hereafter.

This verse is a clear warning for those declare Zikr Bil Jehr as biddah and stop people from performing zikr bil jehr in gatherings and alsp stop people from mawlid gatherings and Mawlid celebrations and reciting Qasidas.
